About Navida
As a child, when anyone asked what I want to be when I grow up, I proudly declared “I want to be a high court judge!” Now, whether I realise this dream remains to be seen, but I set my sights on the legal profession from that point onwards. I have seen first hand what happens when people are unaware of their rights and the protection the legal system can provide. This is what drove me to make the declaration then and what continues to drive me now.
Through my work, I support, advise, protect, and empower my clients. This is not only fulfilling but immensely rewarding. For me, the focus is always on the client and achieving the very best outcome in every case. I apply out of the box thinking to identify practical solutions to complex problems.
I have a breadth of experience across all aspects of family law with a particular focus on the financial aspects of separation and divorce; cases with an overseas element; Islamic marriage and divorce; pre and post nuptial agreements; parental alienation and cases involving coercive and controlling behaviour.
I am an experienced negotiator and a firm believer in non-court dispute resolution. I regularly represent clients at round table meetings with a view to settling matters quickly and amicably. Sometimes, court proceedings become necessary, and I am a confident litigator when representing my clients at court.
When I am not at work I am a keen baker, an avid reader and I love to travel.

What our clients say
I would recommend the practice wholeheartedly. Katie has put together a phenomenal team. Humanity and empathy come through despite the really toxic circumstances in which I find myself. And, the legal advice and support from the team – whether researching unusual precedents or providing strong counter-arguments continues to be my backbone through this time.
